ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Jabari Blash collected two hits, including a two-run home run, in the Tacoma Rainiers 7-6 loss to the Albuquerque Isotopes at Isotopes Park on Tuesday night.

Blash's first home run of the season arrived with no outs in the top of the fifth inning and helped cut a 4-1 deficit down to one run. He ended the night going 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs, and is now batting .333 (4x12) with a pair of extra-base hits in his first four games this season.

After Tacoma fell behind 5-3, Shawn O'Malley brought the Rainiers within a run again after drawing a bases-loaded walk in the seventh inning. He later evened the score at 5-5 with an RBI double that plated James Jones in the eighth, but Albuquerque pulled ahead for good when Tim Wheeler led off the bottom of the ninth inning with a walk-off home run.

The Rainiers turned in a total of nine hits in the contest, with third baseman Carlos Rivero joining Blash as the team's only multi-hit performers. Rivero has hit safely in five of his first six games this season and is batting .478 (11x23) in 2015.

Reliever Mark Lowe (0-1) was dealt the loss after surrendering the walk-off blast to Wheeler in the ninth inning. Starter Jordan Pries surrendered five runs - four earned - on seven hits in 5.2 innings. The right-hander struck out five and walked two in his second turn in the Rainiers rotation this season.

The Rainiers (2-4) look to rebound in the third game of the team's four-game series with Albuquerque (4-2) tomorrow, April 14. Left-hander Roenis Elias (1-0, 7.20) is expected to start for Tacoma against Isotopes right-hander Jon Gray (0-1, 11.25). First pitch is scheduled for 5:35 p.m.
