Pitching Matchup: RHP Matt Buschmann (0-2, 5.56) vs. RHP Brady Rodgers (0-2, 5.14)

First Pitch: 6:35 PT

From the Notes

By the Numbers - 5: Reno allowed just five hits in their win over the Grizzlies last night, tying for the fewest hits allowed in a game this season (3x, last - 4/28 vs. Albuquerque). The Aces have won all three such games (also: 4/10 vs. El Paso).

Bradley Dazzles: Aces starter Archie Bradley has found the form which had him among the game's best pitching prospects over the last three seasons. Still just 23 years young, Bradley has delivered quality starts each of his last three times out, and four times in five outings this year. He has yielded just four earned runs over his last 19 innings, including a seven-inning, two-run performance last night against the Grizzlies. The righty tied his career high with 11 strikeouts (also - 7/29/12 @ Lansing), which also equals the most in the PCL this season (previous - Sean Manaea, Nashville - 4/16 @ OKC). His 11.92 SO/9 IP leads the PCL.

Buschmann Looks for First Win: Matt Buschmann starts for the Aces tonight in search of his first win of the year following losses on April 20 at Albuquerque and April 25 vs. Fresno. Buschmann fared much better in his road outing against the Isotopes, allowing one earned run in 5.1 innings as compared to six earned runs in 6.0 innings at home against the Grizzlies.
