Making It Count: The Aces and I-Cubs play just one four-game series per season against each other since they are in different conferences. Reno has gotten the better of Iowa in recent years, winning three games three times in the last five years and splitting the series the other two times.

Interconference Matchup: After the Aces played only Pacific Conference opponents in their first nine series, Reno's four opponents from May 14-30 all are members of the American Conference. The Aces went 16-16 against American Conference opponents last season and 17-15 in 2014.
