Rempel Traded to Missouri for Future Considerations

Evansville, IN - The Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, today announced defenseman Brendan Rempel has been traded to the Missouri Mavericks for future considerations.

Rempel made six appearances with the Road Warriors this season and earned an assist in his debut with the team on November 8th at Orlando. Last season, the 23-year old played 47 games in the ECHL with Evansville, South Carolina and Las Vegas. He notched an assist and 39 penalty minutes during that span in his first full professional season.

The Willington, Connecticut native began his pro career with the Trenton Titans at the end of the 2012-13 campaign, where he earned two assists, eight penalty minutes and a +4 rating in five contests. Prior to turning pro, Rempel played four seasons at Harvard University. He recorded 11 points (1g, 10a) and 69 penalty minutes over 81 career games.

A 6'3, 220-pound defenseman, Rempel spent the 2008-09 season with the U.S. National Under-18 Team and helped win the gold medal at the 2009 International Ice Hockey Federation World Under-18 Championship.
