Kalamazoo will begin the week and a two-game road trip this Friday, November 21st with an 8 p.m. face-off against the Fort Wayne Komets. On the season Kalamazoo is 1-2-1-0 against Fort Wayne, who begins the week in first place (10-2-0-0, 20 points) in the North Division.

The K-Wings will conclude the week on Saturday, November 22nd with 7:35 p.m. encounter at the U.S. Bank Arena against the Cincinnati Cyclones. On the season Kalamazoo is 1-0-0-0 against Cincinnati, who begins the week in fourth place (4-4-0-2, 10 points) in the North Division.

K-Wings Complete Trade

Earlier today the K-Wings completed a trade with the Missouri Mavericks. The K-Wings sent forward Josh Brittain to the Mavericks for future consideration.

Munroe Returns

On Monday the Springfield Falcons reassigned goaltender Scott Munroe to Kalamazoo. Munroe, who was recalled to the Falcons since October 20th, is 1-0-0-0 with a goals-against of 2.00 and a save percentage of 0.920 with the K-Wings.

Quick Starts The K-Wings have been nearly invisible when they score the game's first goal. Kalamazoo is 3-1-0-0 when they light the lamp before their opposition.

Ending a Streak

Kalamazoo will head into the week looking to snap a streak. The K-Wings are winless (0-2-0-1) in their last three games.

The Obscure Stat of the Week

So far this season the K-Wings are the only team in the ECHL to beat the Fort Wayne Komets at Allen County Memorial Coliseum. Kalamazoo defeated Fort Wayne 3-1 back on October 31st.
