
Florida's Trivino Named Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Corey Trivino of the Florida Everblades is the Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week for Nov. 10-16.
Trivino scored four goals, added two assists and was a +6 as the Everblades won each of their three games last week improving to 9-2-1 on the season.
The 24-year-old scored the game-winning goal, added an assist and was a +4 in a 4-1 win at South Carolina on Friday; tallied a pair of goals in a 5-4 victory at South Carolina on Saturday and had another two-point game (1g-1a) in a 6-3 win at Gwinnett on Sunday.
Selected in the second round (36th overall) by the New York Islanders in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, Trivino leads Florida with six goals and is tied for third on the team with nine points despite playing in just five games this season.
A native of Toronto, Trivino has 103 points (35g-68a) in 109 career ECHL games with Florida and Stockton. He has also added four assists in 11 career AHL games with Portland.
Prior to turning pro, Trivino played four seasons at Boston University, recording 73 points (31g-42a) in 112 games.
On behalf of Corey Trivino, a case of pucks will be donated to a Florida youth hockey organization by Sher-Wood Hockey, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Sher-Wood Hockey has donated more than 31,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
