Relay for Life Night Sunday, July 19
July 17, 2015 - New York-Penn League (NYPL)
Brooklyn Cyclones News Release
Join the Cyclones this Sunday as they celebrate Relay for Life Day at MCU Park! With a game ticket and a $10 donation, fans will be invited onto the field for a pregame Zumba class beginning at 4 pm. Join us as we try to set a record for the largest outdoor charity fitness class!
The Cyclones will be wearing special Relay for Life jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game and all proceeds will go to Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. There will also be a post game Luminaria Ceremony around the baseball diamond as participants, survivors, and caregivers will gather to remember loved ones lost to cancer and to honor those whose fight continues.
Cyclones players also invite fans onto the field for selfie Sunday. Line up at section 24 from 4-4:30 to take photos with players before they take on the Vermont Lake Monsters. Be sure to stick around after the game too, as kids are invited to run the bases post game.
