The game was called due to expected storms and rain in the top of the eighth.

The Doubledays jumped out early, thanks to a two-run home run for Rhett Wiseman. Mahoning Valley responded in the bottom of the first on an RBI single for Li-Jen Chu.

In the bottom of the third, Jodd Carter reached on an error by Melvin Rodriguez. Willi Castro scored to tie the game at two. In the bottom of the fourth, the Scrappers took a 3-2 lead on a sacrifice fly from Silento Sayles to score Emmanuel Tapia.
