BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - F Dale Reinhardt recorded his first career hat trick to lead the Condors to a 6-3 victory over the Victoria Salmon Kings in front of 7,513 fans at Rabobank Arena Friday night. With the win, the Condors overtake the Phoenix RoadRunners and Stockton Thunder, who both lost tonight, for sole possession of seventh place in the National Conference.

The Salmon Kings (40-22-5, 85 points) got off to a good start and put two shots past Condors G Yutaka Fukufuji to make it 2-0 early in the first period. But Bakersfield (23-36-9, 55 points) responded with a pair of their own. C Tim Konsorada snapped home his 33rd of the season at 8:18 to put the Condors on the board. With less than two minutes remaining in the frame they tied it up on a goal by Reinhardt, playing in just his fifth career game as a pro.

Bakersfield took the lead just 17 seconds into the middle frame when C Steve Slonina chipped in his seventh of the season to make it 3-2. The Condors made it a two-goal lead at 9:23 with a second goal from Reinhardt. Ianiero and G Yutaka Fukufuji picked up the assists, and, for Ianiero, it was his third point of the night and 60th of the season, a new career-high. Bakersfield fired 19 shots on goal to lead 31-23 in that category after two.

The Condors added two more goals in the third to cruise to the win. F Eric Sonnenberg notched his eighth of the season at 7:40 to make it 5-3. Reinhardt potted his third of the night at 11:07 to turn the trick and account for the final three-goal margin. In addition to his assist, Fukufuji finished the game with 27 saves in his 15th win of the season.
