Ontario Reign News Release
ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, 2011-12 Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings are excited to announce the schedule of events for our 2012-13 season Opening Night against the Stockton Thunder on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 6:00 p.m.
Everyone who attends the game will receive an Ontario Reign magnet schedule, sponsored by Image Pest Control and Ignite Advertising. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the first 3,000 fans that enter the arena will receive a specialty pink Reign puck, provided by Nestle Pure Life Water.
Earlier this summer the American Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter held a contest for Reign fans to design their 2013 Red Cross specialty jersey. With many great submissions, the top four were chosen by a contest committee. The winning jersey design, as voted on by fans at ontarioreign.com, will be revealed on Opening Night as well.
Recognition of the 2011-12 team will happen with the unveiling of the Reign's 2011-12 Pacific Division Championship banner that was earned last season when the Reign finished with a club-high 43-21-5-3 record earning 94 points. This is the team's second Division title in just four seasons.
The Reign will face off against the Stockton Thunder to give fans a great show as last year the Reign finished the season with a 7-3-0-2 record against the Thunder including a 4-0 shutout and four games determined by a shootout. Eight of the twelve games saw five goals or more between the two clubs.
Tickets are still available for this game, so lock in your seats now! Tickets as low as $10 can be purchased through the Ontario Reign front office by calling 909-941-PUCK (7825), online at ontarioreign.com, or at the Citizens Business Bank Arena box office.
