Reign to Reveal the American Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter Jersey Design

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, 2011-12 Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, along with the American Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter will reveal the winning jersey design in the Red Cross Jersey contest, as voted on by fans via ontarioreign.com, on Opening Night Saturday, Oct. 13.
For the first time ever, jersey designs were submitted by fans to be voted on and chosen for one of the Reign's specialty jersey nights. This contest was for the American Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter. The fourth annual Red Cross Jersey Night is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 and will wrap up the American Red Cross Hope 365 campaign held throughout San Bernardino County and the top Red Cross partners include San Manual Band of Mission Indians, Southern California Edison and Circle K.
The American Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter received many entries and the top four (4) designs were selected and voted online. The voting ended in September and the results have been kept secret to the public until the Reign's Home Opener.
The top designers were Chris Ackerman from Apple Valley, CA, Brittney Ingersoll from Rialto, CA, Christie Jenkins from San Bernardino, CA and Gerard Nunez from Hesperia, CA.
The winning design will be produced on the jerseys worn by the Ontario Reign team during the Red Cross Jersey Night game on February 2, 2013, when they faceoff against the Utah Grizzlies.
In addition to having their design manufactured and then worn by the Reign players, the winning designer will receive a team-signed jersey, two (2) VIP tickets to the Red Cross Jersey Night on February 2, 2013, on-ice recognition and more!
