October 8, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Titans News Release

TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans, ECHL member and proud affiliate of the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers, have announced they have trimmed their preseason roster in preparation for opening night.

To make room on their roster, the Titans have released forwards Mark Armstrong, David de Kastrozza, Matt Germain and Greger Hanson, as well as defensemen Brodie Melnychuk, Derrick Pallis, Nathan Welton, and Tyler Miller. Two goaltenders were released as well in Matt DiGirolamo and Cal Heeter. Heeter - who started Trenton's preseason win over Reading on Saturday - was recalled to Adirondack of the AHL.

Tuesday's on the radio are now "Titans Tuesdays" throughout the hockey season, as Head Coach Vince Williams takes to the airways twice. First, he will be interviewed live on WCTC-1450 AM at 1:25 pm to talk about the team. Then at 8 pm, he will join Titans' broadcaster Daryle Dobos on the Trenton Titans Coaches Show on the Titans' flagship station, 107.7 FM The Bronc. The show will broadcast live from Killarney's Publick House in Hamilton Township, NJ.

The Trenton Titans returned in the 2011-12 hockey season after a five year hiatus and boasted a 26.1% increase in attendance over the previous year, the largest of any team in the 20-team ECHL. Opening Night for the 2012-13 season is October 12 at home against the Greenville Road Warriors. For information on promotions, team events or to purchase tickets for the 2012-13 season, call the Titans' offices at 609-341-1100, or go to TrentonTitansHockey.com.
