Ontario Reign News Release

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, announced the kickoff of their new "Stick with Reading" reading program using Reign tickets as an incentive for children to open up books and get reading.

School-aged children, up to 13 years old, are encouraged to read for a total of ten hours to receive a FREE Ontario Reign game ticket. For every hour a child reads, their parent, guardian, or teacher, will sign the bookmark to confirm they read. Once the bookmark is full with ten signatures, the child can accompany their parent/guardian to the Reign front office to redeem the bookmark for a free ticket. Parents/guardians can get discounted tickets for the same game.

In addition to a free Ontario Reign game, children who complete the program will also receive a certificate of completion and a special Ontario Reign hockey stick, while supplies last, as a constant reminder to "Stick with Reading."

The Reign want to invite entire classes to participate in this program too! Classes of 20 or more students that complete the "Stick with Reading" program will be entered to win a classroom visit from an Ontario Reign player or mascot toward the end of the season, dates subject to availability.

For more details on the Reign's newest reading program, visit www.ontarioreign.com/read and download the bookmark to get started today. For further questions contact Laura Hendrick at lhendrick@ontarioreign.com or 909.941.7899.
