Greenville, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays (10-2-1-2) wrapped up a four-game in five-day set Wednesday night falling to the Greenville Road Warriors (5-7-1-1) 2-1 in the shootout at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena.

The Stingrays kicked off the scoring at 7:26 of the first period when forward Chad Painchaud forced a turnover and slipped a shot between the legs of Road Warriors goaltender Jeff Malcolm (W, 32 saves on 33 shots) on top of the crease.

After a scoreless middle frame, Road Warriors forward Brandon Hynes capitalized on the power play 20 seconds into the third period knocking a rebound past Stingrays netminder Jeff Jakaitis (SOL, 30 saves on 31 shots) to tie the contest 1-1.
