Ontario Reign News Release
ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, announced that Account Executive Cody Smith has accepted a position with the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes and will start with the team in Raleigh, NC September 9.
"I look forward to this next step in my career," Smith said. "I am very excited to work for an NHL club as it has always been a dream of mine."
Smith joined the Reign in June 2012 and spent the entire 2012-13 season in Ontario after working for MLB's Tampa Bay Rays as an Inside Sales Representative during their 2012 campaign.
"I am so proud to have been a part of this staff; it is such a quality organization with a professional atmosphere and amazing fan base," Smith said. "I want to thank Justin Kemp for the opportunity to work here, and for his continued support. I'd also like to thank all of my Season Ticket Holders who made my time here very special."
