"Season-Ticket Holder Only" Game Returns

September 4, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Idaho Steelheads News Release

Boise, ID (9/4/13) - The Idaho Steelheads, in conjunction with the ECHL, announced Tuesday that the team will host the Utah Grizzlies on Saturday, October 12, in the third-annual "Season-Ticket Holder Only" preseason game.

There will be no single-game tickets to the game, which will be played at CenturyLink Arena in downtown Boise. Rather, each Season-Ticket holder will get an allotment of general-admission passes to use and distribute for the game. The puck will drop at 7:10 PM.

Each Season-Ticket holder will receive a letter soon with their vouchers for the game. The letter explains the event to new Season-Ticket holders and any who have not attended in the past.

Last season's "Season-Ticket Holder Only" game drew 4,813 fans as the Steelheads topped Utah, 3-1.

The game is part of a two-game preseason schedule for the Steelheads and Grizzlies. The two teams will play Friday night, October 11, in Logan, UT, before returning to Boise for the Saturday-night contest.

The 17th season of professional hockey in Boise kicks off on Friday, October 18, when the Idaho Steelheads travel to take on the Utah Grizzlies.

Idaho's home-opener is Wednesday, October 23, when the Steelheads host the San Francisco Bulls at CenturyLink Arena. Season Ticket packages are available now, starting at just $275 per seat for all 36 home games. Partial-season packages are available as well for fans who want a little more flexibility. Contact the Idaho Steelheads front office at 208.383.0080 for more information.
