Regis Powers Boulders to an 8-4 victory
August 8, 2018 - Canadian American League (Can-Am)
New York Boulders News Release
Cody Regis homered twice in an 8-4 Boulders victory on Wednesday night. He opened the scoring in the game on a two-run home run to right field over the short porch. Kevin Krause was on base when Regis homered, and he did so by extending his hit streak to 12 games.
Krause wasn't done with just the one hit tonight, adding a home run and a two-RBI double in the bottom of the seventh inning to put the game out of reach for Rockland. Conrad Gregor also homered for the home team.
Brian Ernst was strong in yet another start tonight allowing just three runs over 5.2. Tommy Lawrence delivered 2.1 innings of no-hit ball to secure the victory for the Boulders.
Rockland hits the road to Ottawa this weekend and will be back in Palisades Credit Union Park on Monday, August 8th where they will host the New Jersey Jackals.
