Today's Game-- The RedHawks finish their homestand with an 11:05 a.m. game against the Tucson Padres looking to sweep their second series of the season.

Last Night-- Brad Snyder hit a walk-off home run to lead off the bottom of the ninth inning, giving the RedHawks a 4-3 win over Tucson. Facing a full count against Jason Ray (0-1), Snyder sent a ball about 10 feet up the grass berm in center field for his third home run of the season, as well as the first walk-off home run of the year for the RedHawks. The walk-off shot ended up being the first time the RedHawks gained the lead. Each team scored a run in the first inning, with Brett Wallace providing a two-out RBI single to tie the game. Oklahoma City's Dallas Keuchel and Tucson's Jorge Reyes were locked into a pitcher's duel and kept the game at 1-1 until the eighth inning. Tucson scored twice, but the RedHawks answered with a two-run homer from Jimmy Paredes to pull even once again. Adalberto Flores (2-0) earned the win after retiring all four batters he faced.

Today's Probable Pitchers-- Sergio Perez makes his second start of the season...Perez's one previous start came April 19 in Nashville in Game 2 of a doubleheader against the Sounds...He left that start in the third inning with a minor leg injury but did not miss significant time...In 10 relief appearances, Perez is 1-1 with a 3.79 ERA...He leads the RedHawks bullpen with 19.0 innings of relief...Perez spent all of 2011 with the RedHawks, making 21 starts and going 5-9 with a 4.25 ERA...He led the team in starts, was second in innings (110.0) and third in strikeouts (71)......Lefty Tom Layne makes his second straight after he was recently acquired by the Padres...He was traded to the Padres from Arizona for future considerations a couple weeks ago...Layne had been playing with Reno of the PCL until the tade...With his new team, Layne has made two starts, going 0-1 and allowing five runs in 9.2 innings...Layne had also made five appearances--including four starts--with Reno...He's had trouble going deep into ballgames, reaching five innings just twice...Last season Layne went 12-7 between Double-A Mobile and Reno.

Walk It Off-- The RedHawks have claimed walk-off victories each of the last two games. Brad Snyder's walk-off home run was the first for OKC since Brandon Barnes hit one in a 4-3 win in 10 innings over Nashville on May 4, 2011.

Winner, Winner-- The RedHawks have won four straight games for the first time since sweeping a four-game series in Nashville, April 17-20. A win today would also give them their first sweep since that same series. The RedHawks can also tie a season-best five-game win streak with a victory (April 6-10).

Close Calls-- The RedHawks have played in five consecutive one-run games, bumping their season total to 16, the second-most in the PCL behind Iowa (19). They are now 8-8 in one-run contests. The RedHawks also have the most extra innings losses in the league with four.

Busting Out-- After being held to three runs and 13 hits over the three-game series with Las Vegas, the RedHawks have scored 16 runs with 34 hits over the first three games of this series.

Plenty of Paredes-- After going 1-for-19 his previous five games, Jimmy Paredes is 8-for-13 this series with five RBIs. He is now tied for the team lead with 11 multi-hit games. Sunday he went 4-for-5 to become just the second RedHawk along with Brian Bixler to record four or more hits in a game twice this season.

Superior Starts-- The starting pitchers over the last six games have combined to post a 2.35 ERA (10 ER/38.1 IP). Four of six starts went at least 6.2 innings and the starters have struck out 27 while walking just five. From Wednesday through Sunday, the rotation combined for 26 consecutive scoreless innings.

Saving the Day-- After closing out last Saturday's game, Jose Valdez is 7-for-7 in save opportunities this season. Last year he went 9-for-9.

You Better Think Twice-- The RedHawks have caught 20 of 42 attempted base stealers for a 47.6% caught stealing rate, easily the best in the PCL. (Sacramento is next at 38.5%.) Landon Powell ranks first in the league, going 9-for-15, and Carlos Corporan is second with a 11-for-27 mark.

Against the Padres-- The RedHawks have taken each of the first three games by one run and have to hit .327 as a team...Since these teams are in opposing conferences, this will be the only series between the two clubs in 2012...Last season the RedHawks took three of four in Tucson, averaging eight runs per game and winning twice by eight runs...Drew Locke put up unreal numbers during last year's series: 8-for-17, three homers, three doubles and an eye-popping 14 RBIs...The last time the Padres' Triple-A affiilate visited OKC in 2010, they were the Portland Beavers.

Long Road Ahead-- The RedHawks begin a 12-game road trip Thursday night, with stops in Reno, Colorado Springs, and Albuquerque. They'll start a season-long 12-game homestand Tuesday, May 29 against Nashville, with series against Iowa and New Orleans to follow.
