Today's Game: Tied for first place in the PCL American Southern Division and tied 1-1 in the current series, the RedHawks and Express play the third game of their four-game series at 6:05 p.m.

Last Game: Brett Wallace and Jake Elmore hit home runs to lead the RedHawks to a 6-4 win Saturday against Round Rock in front of a sellout crowd at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The RedHawks scored two runs in each the first, third, and fourth innings to take a 6-0 lead. Round Rock's Jared Hoying socked a two-run homer in the fifth and the Express added a run in the eighth. In the ninth, Robinson Chirinos homered to cut Oklahoma City's to two. Round Rock put the tying runs on base with one, but RedHawks pitcher Josh Zeid secured the final two outs of the game, culminating with a strikeout of Greg Miclat on the 11th pitch of the at-bat. RedHawks starting pitcher Jarred Cosart (6-3) improved to 4-0 in his seven starts at home this season, allowing two runs on four hits, walking four and striking out three over six innings. Zeid picked up his third save of the season.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Asher Wojciechowski returns to the mound for the RedHawks looking to continue his recent success in his first career start against Round Rock...Wojciechowski picked up his second win in his last three starts Tuesday afternoon against Iowa. He allowed two runs on four hits in 5.2 innings, tying a season high with seven strikeouts--the most he's had since joining the RedHawks...Over his last three starts, Wojciechowski has allowed three runs (two on solo HR's) and 11 hits in 18.2 innings for a 1.45 ERA and a .167 opponent average...Combined with his time with Double-A Corpus Christi this season, Wojciechowski ranks second in innings (70.2) and fourth in ERA (2.80) among Astros minor leaguers. Between the two levels he's holding opponents to a .157 average with runners in scoring position...He's certainly made a home at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, going 3-0 with a 1.65 ERA over five starts while holding opponents to a .186 average.

Against the Express: 2013: 3-3 2012: 10-6 All-time: 71-62 In OKC: 37-33

The two clubs have alternated wins and losses in each of the first six games of the season series...The Express has already won more games (3) in Oklahoma City than it did all of last season (2)...Round Rock has homered eight times in six games while the RedHawks have only gone deep twice, both coming yesterday...The RedHawks and Express split a four-game series in Oklahoma City April 16-19...The RedHawks hit .309 as a team in the series. Marc Krauss went 6-for-12 with three doubles, and five RBI...Oklahoma City won 10 of 16 meetings with the Express in 2012...15 of the last 19 games between the teams have been decided by three runs or less, including eight by one or two runs...The RedHawks have not lost the season series in five of the last six years...Round Rock is once again led by Bobby Jones, the legendary RedHawks skipper who compiled 595 wins and five division titles over eight seasons. He also managed the team when they were the 89ers in 1993-1994.

Consecutive Win Conquest: Tonight the RedHawks will try and win back-to-back games for the first time this month. They finished May with three straight wins and won on June 1 in Albuquerque. They have alternated wins and losses through the first six games of the current homestand.

Say Hello to Singleton: Today marks the long-awaited arrival of Jonathan Singleton. After missing the first 50 games due to a suspension, Singleton has been making his way to Oklahoma City with stops in Low-A Quad Cities and Double-A Corpus Christi. He homered in each of his first three games this season and between the two levels he hit .271 with five home runs and 13 RBI over 17 games. Last season Singleton was Corpus Christi's Team MVP, batting .284 with 21 home runs and 79 RBI. He tied for the Texas League lead in runs (94), ranked second in walks (88), and fourth in extra-base hits (52).

In order to make room on the roster for Singleton, Andy Simunic has been placed on the Disabled List. Simunic injured his right elbow during Friday night's game.

Booming Brett: Brett Wallace hit his team-leading 10th home run of the season Saturday -- a solo shot to left field in the third inning. He has hit safely in all six games of the current homestand, going 9-for-24. Wallace leads the RedHawks with a .311 batting average and is tied with Marc Krauss for the team lead in RBI (35), and multi-RBI games (9).

To the Max: Astros outfielder Justin Maxwell continued his rehab assignment last night by going 1-for-3, walking once and scoring two runs. He's now 3-for-11 with two RBI over three games for the RedHawks. Before joining the RedHawks, Maxwell had been rehabbing with Double-A Corpus Christi, where he went 1-for-21 over six games. He's been on the Disabled List with a fractured left hand since April 24.

Elmore, More More: Last night in what was his 240th at-bat of 2013 between the RedHawks and Astros, Jake Elmore hit his fourth home run of the season. Not only has he set a new career single-season best, but he had hit four home runs in 868 at-bats over the past two seasons combined.

Out-Homered at Home: The RedHawks have allowed at least one home run in seven straight games, setting a new season high. They have allowed 12 dingers through the first six games of the homestand. Opponents had hit only 20 home runs through the first 26 games at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Along the same lines, the pitching staff's ERA during the homestand is 6.00. It was 3.92 in games in Oklahoma City before this homestand began.
