KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones (10-15) lost the second game of a three-game series versus the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (14-11), 11-4, on Wednesday night at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

With 3,940 on hand, the RedHawks took an early lead against Devin Anderson (2-3) without collecting a hit, scoring two runs on two errors. In the third, Fargo added two more runs on a single by Carlo Cota to push the lead to 4-0. Kansas City battled back with three runs off Oliver Odle (3-3) in the bottom of the inning, plating two on a home run by Keanon Simon.

Both teams added single runs in their half of the fifth, making the score 5-4. Odle left the game with an apparent injury after surrendering a one-out triple to Simon. Alex Caldera (2-0) entered and eventually allowed an RBI single to Ray Sadler for the T-Bones run in the inning.

Odle was charged with four runs on five hits over four and one-thirds innings. He did not factor into the decision.

Fargo loaded the bases with one out in the sixth, forcing Anderson from the mound. Ryne Reynoso entered and surrendered a sacrifice fly to Zach Penprase to make the score 6-4.

Anderson took the loss after allowing six runs, four earned, on six hits over five and one-thirds innings. Caldera surrendered just two hits over three and two-thirds scoreless innings of relief for Fargo to earn the victory.

Former T-Bone Jim Fasano homered in the top of the eighth to push the score to 7-4. Fargo used two-run home runs by both Nic Jackson and Carlo Cota to cap the score at 11-4 in the top of the ninth off newcomer Cole Lohden. Ryan Hook got the final two outs of the frame to close out the game for Kansas City.

Simon finished two-for-five with a triple, home run and two RBI to pace Kansas City. Cota went three-for-five, falling a triple shy of the cycle while driving in five runs for the RedHawks.
