
RedHawks announce promotions, giveaways during eight-game homestand with Nashville and Tucson

The Oklahoma RedHawks return home Friday, June 13 to begin an eight-game homestand against the Nashville Sounds before concluding with the Tucson Sidewinders. The RedHawks are currently 33-33 and locked in a tight race in the Pacific Coast League (PCL) East with division-leading New Orleans (36-28, .563) and Nashville (34-29, .540)
Friday, June 13 -- Oklahoma State Highway Safety Office (OHSO) Autograph Night. Selected RedHawk players will sign autographs from 6 to 6:20 p.m. along the third-base concourse. The RedHawks will meet the Nashville Sounds for the first time this season begining a four-game series. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
Saturday, June 14 -- SBC and Twister 101.9 FM T-Shirt Giveaway. The first 2,500 fans will receive a SBC/KTST RedHawks T-shirt. In addition, the first drawing for finalists for the Great Summer Truck Giveaway will be held. Drawings will be held throughout the remainder of the season with the eventual winner given the keys to a 2003 Ford Explorer Sports Trac courtesy of the Oklahoma Ford Dealers. Gates open at 6 p.m. with the first pitch set for 7:05 p.m.
Sunday, June 15 -- "Caddy for Daddy" Contest. Bob Moore Cadillac and KOMA/KRXO/KMGL are giving "Dads" a chance to win a brand new 2003 Cadillac CTS for Father's Day. Participants were able to register at Bob Moore Cadillac by test driving the CTS or by listening to the participating radio stations. In addition, Country Crock Family Fun Day featuring the Sonic Kids Fest. Fans can bring an original receipt showing proof-of-purchase of a Country Crock item and receive 2-for-1 admission. Inflatables and entertainers will be set up throughout the ballpark and kids can run the bases after the game. Game time is set for 2:05 p.m.
Monday, June 16 -- IGA Hometown Kids Night. Kids can get free admission and a hot dog and Coca-Cola product for $2 with their IGA Hometown Kids Card. Gametime is 7:05 p.m.
Tuesday, June 17 -- $1 Hotdog Night sponsored by KXXY and Bar-S Foods. The Tucson Sidewinders begin a four-game series with the RedHawks. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
Wednesday, June 18 - Bubble Yum Contest. Fans compete in a Bubble Yum Bubble Blowing Contest for a variety of prizes. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
Friday, June 20 -- Cracker Jack Vegas Trip. The first 2,500 fans will receive a box of Cracker Jacks with one special box containing the grand prize -- round trip tickets and lodging for two people to Las Vegas courtesy of KOMA 1520 AM.
