Metairie, LA -- Ron Villone pitched seven innings allowing one on six hits to lead the New Orleans Zephyrs (37-28) to a 5 to 1 victory over the Nashville Sounds (34-30) on Wednesday Night at Zephyr Field in front of 3,157.
The Zephyrs would score two runs in the bottom of the first as Henri Stanley scored on a base hit from Alan Zinter and then Zinter scored on a hit from Colin Porter. The Z's would add three runs in the third to make 5-0. Stanley would walk to lead off the inning and score on a double from Raul Chavez. Chavez would score on Porter's fourth home run of the season.

He scattered six hits over seven innings to register his second win of the season for the Z's and his fourth in the PCL. Sounds starter Nelson Figueroa (6-4) suffered the loss pitching four innings allowing five runs on seven hits.
