TONIGHT'S GAME: The Red Wings 9-game, 8-day, 3-city road trip continues Tuesday night in Moosic, PA as the Wings open a two-game set against the Scranton/WB RailRiders (Yankees) at PNC Field. The Red Wings began their trip by losing four of five to the Buffalo Bisons and have now dropped 10 of their last 16 games after a 26-game stretch in which they went 20-6 . Rochester has fallen to a tied for season-high 5.5 GB of Syracuse in the IL North (Also, May 12). The RailRiders, in last place in the North (10.5 GB), are coming off a four-game series split with Pawtucket. Still, Scranton/WB is just 8-14 in the month of June.

- The Wings will face RHP Bruce Billings, who they beat in his only other start against them on 4/8 (L, 4.0 IP, 7 H, 4 R/ER) -- it was ROC's first win of the season...Billings has allowed 4 R or more in 5 of his 9 GS with SWB this season.

VS. SWB: The Wings are 6-1 against the RailRiders this season, sweeping a 3-game set in Rochester (April 7-9) and taking 3 of 4 at PNC Field (May 22-25) -- it was the first four-game series win by Rochester over Scranton in Scranton since 1991 (June 28-30) . The Wings are outscoring SWB 33-17 and are hitting .304 as a team in 7 games against the RailRiders this season. Going back to last season, the Wings have now won 9 of the last 10 games between the two clubs. Prior to this 10-game stretch, the Wings were just 29-64 against the Yankees top affiliate over the previous 5 1/2 seasons.

-Dan Rohlfing is 4-for-10 with 2 2B and a team-leading 5 RBI against SWB this season in 4 games.

-Doug Bernier is 7-for-15 with 3 RBI in 6 games against his former team this year.

WITH A WIN TODAY, THE WINGS WILL...:

- Snap their 3-game losing skid & avoid their third, 4+ game losing streak this season (4 G, 4/13-17(1)) & (8 G, 5/5-12).

MORE ABOUT YESTERDAY..:

- The Wings lost their 3rd straight game for the first time since May 12.

- The Red Wings went 0-for-8 with RISP and are now just 3-for-24 (.125) over their 3-game losing streak.

- RHP Alex Meyer lasted just 3 2/3 IP allowing 4 runs...He hasn't completed four innings in any of his last 3 starts.

- CF Eric Farris, who didn't enter until the 3rd inning. recorded 3 OF assists and now has team-leading 5 on the year.

GIVING UP THE LONG BALL: After Alex Meyer yielded two homers on Monday, Red Wings starters have now allowed a home run in four of the last five games and 19 total in 24 June games . The rotation had allowed just 13 over the first two months of the season (54 games). Each starter has allowed at least 2 HR in the month. LHP Kris Johnson leads the way with 4 HR allowed in the month - the only 4 he's surrendered this season.

EXCELLENT EDGAR: After two scoreless innings on Monday, Wings reliever Edgar Ibarra has now tossed a season-high 13 1/3 consecutive scoreless innings dating back to his last inning of work on May 29 vs. SYR . Over the streak - which has spanned 7+ games - Ibarra has yielded 10 hits and 4 walks with 11 strikeouts. The 13 1/3 innings his the 5th longest scoreless streak by a Red Wings pitcher this season and the 2nd longest by a Wings reliever. Prior to this streak, Ibarra had allowed at least 1 run in 8 of his first 14 outings this year.

- Ibarra had a 14 1/3 inning scoreless streak last year with Rochester

DOIN' THE DOUGIE: Red Wings infielder Doug Bernier has been on a tear of late. Bernier is now batting .348 (31-for-89) with 4 doubles, a homer, 14 runs and 16 RBI over his last 29 games since May 17. Going back to June 1 of last season, Bernier is hitting .317 (102-322) over his last 103 games in the IL with 33 XBH (24 2B, 5 3B, 4 HR) and 48 RBI. Over his first 154 games with Rochester, Bernier is hitting .297 (143-482) with 69 RBI...Over his previous 301 games (2009-2012) in the IL with SWB and IND, Bernier hit just .216 (193-892) with 74 RBI .

- Bernier is hitting a team-best .385 (20-52) with RISP this season and his hitting .324 w/ RISP over 2 years with ROC.

DOUBLE DUDES: The Wings have collected at least two doubles in nine of their last 12 games and have 33 total doubles over their last 14 games to move into 2nd in the IL with 149 on the season (DUR, 151) . 3B Deibinson Romero leads ROC with 18 doubles. The Wings rank T-8th in triples with 14 and T-12th in home runs with 45.

- The Wings have collected at least one extra-base hit in a season-high 34 consecutive games .

WINGS THINGS: The Red Wings have stolen just 5 bases in the month of June after swiping 41 bags the first 2 months of the season...64% (29 of 45) of the Wings' homers this season have come with at least one runner on base...The Wings bullpen has a 2.86 ERA on the season...The Wings have played in the tied for fewest extra-inning games this year (4; 1-3) and haven't gone to extras since April 27.
