
Syracuse Chiefs' Homestand Highlights: June 24th-July 1st

The Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, return home Tuesday for a jam-packed 10-game, eight-day, homestand. The Chiefs will play the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, and the Buffalo Bisons - the Triple-A affiliates of the Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees, and the Toronto Blue Jays, respectively - over the eight-day span. Here's what's coming up for the first-place Chiefs...
Tuesday, June 24th (6:00 doubleheader vs. Lehigh Valley): The homestand kicks off with a doubleheader and Golf Day. NBT Bank Stadium will feature 18 holes of mini-golf fun placed throughout the concourse as part of the team's "Putt-Putt-Palooza" event, as well as a "closest to the pin" competition in between games on the field. Additionally, PGA golf pros will be in attendance giving quick clinics to golf enthusiasts. Local golf courses will set up booths on the concourse with prizes to give away throughout the night.
Fans can also purchase two tickets for the price of one as a part of our Two-for-Tuesday promotion.
Wednesday, June 25th (7:00 vs. Lehigh Valley): On this Winning Wednesday, fans will have a chance to win a number of tremendous prizes, including a VIP membership to Pole Position Raceway, a pair of Ultimate Canyon combo tickets to Wonder Works, and a "Burger a Month" for one year and t-shirt from Bull and Bear. In addition, fans can win a pair of tickets to see country-music star Brad Paisley, performing Thursday, August 21st at the New York State Fair with Randy Houser, Leah Turner & Charlie Worsham.
All Wednesdays this year are also Guaranteed Win Nights. If the Chiefs lose, fans can use their ticket stub for free admission to any regular-season home game in 2014.
Thursday, June 26th (6:00 doubleheader vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre): The Chiefs' second twin bill in three days takes place on a $1.00 Thursday presented by 95X. Fans can purchase $1 Hofmann hot dogs, $1 Coca-Cola products, $1 Saranac, Labatt and Budweiser products, $1 game programs and $3 general admission tickets.
In addition, the Chiefs will be bringing the excitement of the FIFA World Cup to Syracuse with World Cup Night. From 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon that day, the Chiefs will partner with the Syracuse Silver Knights for a soccer clinic in the outfield with head coach Tommy Tanner and Silver Knights players. For just $12, campers will receive a special-edition camp T-shirt and a general admission ticket to that night's game. Fans are encouraged to wear their soccer jerseys or Team USA gear to that night's game. In addition, Silver Knights players will appear at the game and sign autographs outside the SMG Fan Cave during the game.
Friday, June 27th (7:00 vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre): The Chiefs are pleased to welcome the world-famous Zooperstars to NBT Bank Stadium. The Zooperstars, a troupe of inflatable celebrity animals billed as the "World's Best Sports Entertainment Act," recently played during halftime at the NBA Finals and are ready to wow Chiefs fans. The Zooperstars are presented by Upstate University Hospital and GEM Care.
Friday night is also a Coca-ColaFireworks Fridaypresented by 93Q. Every Friday home game this season, stay tuned after the final out for a great fireworks show.
In addition, Ra-Lin will sponsor another Lucky Fan Giveaway on Friday, with a Klipsch Gallery G-17 Air AirPlay enabled speaker system. By plugging it into your wall and connecting wirelessly over a Wi-Fi network, the G-17 Air allows wireless access and playback of your iTunes libraries from your Apple device. One lucky fan will win this must-have home accessory.
Saturday, June 28th (7:00 vs. Buffalo): Syracuse.com, the Syracuse Post-Standard and NBT Bank are proud to present Re-Opening Day as the Chiefs look to "restart" their season. With the school year over and the summer weather here to stay, we invite all fans to come out on this night as we look to set a new NBT Bank Stadium attendance record. Fans are welcome to come early to watch batting practice, with gates open at 4:00 PM. From 4:00 to 6:00 PM, fans can participate in face painting, receive an animal balloon from Jeff the Magic Man and enjoy two-for-one drink specials.
In addition, the first 1,000 fans will receive a free piggy bank courtesy of NBT Bank as part of our weekly Giveaway Saturday promotion.
Sunday, June 29th (5:00 vs. Buffalo): Come celebrate Family Sunday with Scooch and Pops' Birthday Party Mascot Extravaganza. The party will host mascots from all around the Syracuse area as mascots participate in on-field games and the largest Mascot Race to date. We invite fans to join the local mascots to wish Scooch and Pops an unforgettable birthday.
As part of Family Sunday, all kids ages 12 and under get into the game for free and can run the bases after the game's final out.
Monday, June 30th (7:00 vs. Buffalo): Social Media Monday, sponsored by Blue Rock Energy, will feature a "Caption this Picture Contest" featuring a picture of Chiefs pitcher Zach Jackson. The fan who comes up with the best caption for the picture will receive a "Bag of Swag" courtesy of Blue Rock Energy as well as a ticket to a future game. Participants can show their responses to our Fan Experience team in the Blue Rock Energy Fan Experience tent in front of the main gate and share them on social media before entering the stadium. Anyone who participates in the contest will receive a voucher for $5 off a Reserved or Box seat.
Tuesday, July 1st (7:00 vs. Buffalo): Diehard Chiefs fans will have the opportunity to show how much they love their team on Tattoo Night. Any fan who gets a tattoo of a Chiefs logo on their arms, legs, upper shoulder, or ribs will receive free general admission tickets for life. Tattoo artists from Carmelo's Ink City will be in the Hank Sauer Room to give out tattoos on a first-come, first-serve basis.
