Maine Celtics News Release

PORTLAND - January 22, 2015 - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, completed a trade with the Idaho Stampede today. Maine traded guard Jermaine Taylor to Idaho in exchange for the returning player rights to forward Dallas Lauderdale.

Taylor played in 22 games with the Red Claws this season, starting in 15. He is averaging 11.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 27.7 minutes per game. This was the third season that Taylor played with the Red Claws, joining Maine in the 2012-13 season. He played only two games with the team last season because of a knee injury. A product of Central Florida, Taylor was a 2nd Round selection by the Washington Wizards in the 2009 NBA Draft. Taylor has played in 65 NBA games with Houston and Sacramento.

Lauderdale, a four-year player for Ohio State, played for Idaho last season. In 39 games (38 starts), Lauderdale averaged 7.5 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game. He participated in Charlotte Hornets training camp this season.

The Red Claws return to action tomorrow night at Delaware, before returning home Saturday to face Sioux Falls at the Portland Expo.
