RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today a trade with the Victoria Royals. The Rebels have sent 19-year old defenceman Jacob Herauf to the Royals in exchange for a 2nd round selection in the 2020 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft, a 6th round bantam pick in 2021 and a conditional 5th round bantam draft pick in 2022.
Herauf is entering his fourth year in the WHL, he's played 173 regular season games with the Rebels, scoring 3 goals and 36 assists for 39 points.
