Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg ICE Hockey Club is excited to announce the launch of two community-focused opportunities, both presented by Subway® Manitoba. The first initiative will allow kids to get free tickets to ICE games, and the second is a monthly award that recognizes an ICE Player who is doing amazing work in the community.

On Tuesday, the ICE launched its Community Group of the Game and Community Performer of the Month, both presented by Subway® Manitoba.

COMMUNITY GROUP OF THE GAME PRESENTED BY SUBWAY® MANITOBA

Subway® Manitoba has generously donated 126 tickets to the Community Group of the Game initiative.

Six games throughout the 2019-2020 season, the ICE will host a local community group, each receiving 20 tickets to the game.

Community groups can apply to become the Winnipeg ICE Community Group of the Game by filling out a form under the Community Group of the Game tab at www.winnipegICE.ca.

Following that, a member of the ICE staff will contact a representative of the group to coordinate a game date and other specific details.

COMMUNITY PERFORMER OF THE MONTH PRESENTED BY SUBWAY® MANITOBA

The Community Performer of the Month presented by Subway® Manitoba is an award given to a deserving ICE player who has shown tremendous initiative, pride and leadership in the community. Each monthly winner will receive a gift card courtesy of Subway® Manitoba.

Winnipeg ICE 2019-2020 season seat memberships are available now for as low as $45.75 per month.

In addition, three exciting mini packs with adult and youth price points are available, guaranteed to satisfy every hockey fan.
