PROMOTIONS/EVENTS

Season Ticket Pick-Up:

The Hurricanes will hold their annual Season Ticket Pick-Up on Tuesday, September 10th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Canadian Western Bank Lounge at the ENMAX Centre.

Individual Game Tickets:

Single game tickets for the 2019-2020 regular season will go on sale on Wednesday, September 11th at 10:00am. Tickets can be purchased online at www.enmaxcentre.ca, by phone at 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre or Yates Memorial Theatre Ticket Centre.

Pre-Season Tickets:

The 'Canes will play their final home ENMAX Pre-Season game on Friday, September 13th at the ENMAX Centre when they welcome the Swift Current Broncos at 7:00pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10.00, cash only, or in advance at the Lethbridge Hurricanes Office or at any Gas King location in Lethbridge.

Dairy Queen Home Opener:

The Hurricanes will open their 2019-2020 regular season on Friday, September 20th at 7:00pm when they welcome the Medicine Hat Tigers at the ENMAX Centre. Single game tickets will go on sale on Wednesday at 10:00am.

Home Opener Tailgate Party:

Once again this year, the 'Canes will hold a Home Opener Tailgate Party on the plaza at the ENMAX Centre prior to their first game of the season. The tailgate will begin at 4:00pm and will run until 7:00pm with Browns Socialhouse will be BBQing burgers with pop and chips by donation.

There will be a Molson Beer Gardens with $6.00 beer along with face painting and fun activities.

THE WEEK THAT WAS

Friday, September 6th - 3-2 Loss at Red Deer Rebels: The Hurricanes began their 2019 ENMAX Pre-Season schedule with a 3-2 defeat Friday in Red Deer. Alex Thacker and Rylan Thiessen scored in the loss while Bryan Thomson made 30 saves.

Saturday, September 7th - 3-2 OT Win vs. Red Deer Rebels: Lethbridge earned their first pre-season victory on Saturday with a 3-2 overtime win over the Rebels at the ENMAX Centre. Rylan Thiessen and Chase Wheatcroft scored in regulation while Zack Stringer added the overtime winner.

THIS WEEK'S GAME SCHEDULE

Friday, September 13th - vs. Swift Current Broncos (7:00pm): The Hurricanes play their final home pre-season game on Friday when they welcome the Broncos to the ENMAX Centre. It will be the first of a home-and-home set against the Broncos. Saturday, September 14th - at Swift Current Broncos (7:00pm): The Hurricanes will complete the 2019 ENMAX Pre-Season schedule on Saturday when they travel to Swift Current to face the Broncos in the back half of a home-and-home, back-to-back set.

NEWS & NOTES

2G-2GP:

Hurricanes rookie defenseman Rylan Thiessen has shown well so far in the exhibition season.

The Brandon, Manitoba product has tallied two goals in two pre-season games so far. The rearguard scored once in each of the two games against the Red Deer Rebels on the weekend.

Six NHL Camps:

The 'Canes currently have six players attending NHL Training Camps, including: Jordy Bellerive and Calen Addison (Pittsburgh Penguins), Nick Henry and Logan Barlage (Colorado Avalanche), Jake Leschyshyn (Vegas Golden Knights) and Dylan Cozens (Buffalo Sabres).
