Rebels Take Landon Ferraro In WHL Bantam Draft

RED DEER, AB - The Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club announced today they have selected forward Landon Ferraro with their first pick, 2nd overall, in the 2006 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

This is the highest selection the Rebels have had in the WHL Bantam Draft since Mike McBain was taken 1st overall in 1992.

Landon Ferraro is the son of former NHL player Ray Ferraro, and he played last season with the Burnaby Winter Club 'AAA' Bantams.
