Red Deer, AB - Goaltender Ethan Anders made 41 saves for his first shutout of the season as the Red Deer Rebels blanked the Calgary Hitmen 3-0 on Friday night at Westerner Park Centrium.

The Hitmen carried the play most of the night, outshooting the Rebels 41-18, but were unable to solve Anders.

On the special teams front, the Hitmen went 0-4 on the power play while Red Deer was 0-2.
