Last time they met: Last time these clubs met was on January 31st, 2020, in Saskatoon. Nolan Maier earned his first shutout of the year in return from injury as the Blades' won 3-0 with two goals to Riley McKay (15,16) and a single to Tristen Robins (23).

What it means for the Blades: Every point matters from here on out and Saskatoon simply can't afford to lose to the bottom-placed team in the Eastern Conference while also trying to Chase the Wheat Kings, ICE & Raiders for top-three spot in the East Division.

The stat: 71.3% - the rate at which Moose Jaw successfully kills their penalties, the worst in the league.

Mr. 299 & 99: Nolan Kneen will be skating in his 299th WHL game tonight, setting him up to hit the prestigious 300 mark tomorrow night at SaskTel Centre in front of the home crowd. Likewise, Aidan De La Gorgendiere is dressing his his 99th WHL game tonight, so tomorrow night at home will also be a special occasion for the young defenceman's 100th WHL game.

Happy Birthday: Today we're celebrating the birthday of our team Captain, #44, Chase Wouters! Wouters turns 20 years old today and his in his fourth season in the WHL.

It's a big night for: Riley McKay - Porks hasn't managed to score in either of the Blades' two games since their last game against the Warriors, however this season he has had a knack of putting it to Moose Jaw with five goals and an assist in three games against the southern Saskatchewan club. That's to go with eight PIM & a +/- of +5.
