Rebels Select Hamilton

RED DEER - The Red Deer Rebels have selected forward Beckett Hamilton with the 18th overall selection in round one of the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft.

Hamilton, who is 15, racked up 83 points in 29 regular season games in 2022-23 with the Humboldt Broncos U15 AA. He added 33 points in nine playoff games.

The Humboldt, SK native is the great-nephew of Kelowna Rockets Owner, President, and General Manager Bruce Hamilton. His father Lee Hamilton played in the WHL for Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Kelowna from 1993-97.
