Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers selected 12 players in the WHL Prospects Draft including seven forwards, four defensemen and a goaltender.

Here is a closer look at the Kamloops Blazers in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft.

3rd round, 64th overall

Defenseman - Dryden Deobald

6'1" 140lbs

DOB - April 23, 2008

Hometown - Regina, SK

Team - Regina Monarchs U15 AA

"Good sized player, skates well with good skills and a high hockey IQ. Scored 22 goals in the regular season." - SK/MB Scout Ken Fox

Defenseman - Kaden Meyer

6'3" 151lbs

DOB - April 5, 2008

Hometown - Delta, BC

Team - Greater Van Canadians U15 AAA

"Two way puck moving d-man that moves well and has good mobility. Has shown great improvement in his game since the start of the year and we feel there is tremendous upside with Kaden. Excited to be able to add a player of his calibre to the Blazers." - BC Scout Scott Blakeney
