Rebels Select Frantisek Formanek in Import Draft

With the 14th overall selection, the Rebels today selected 17 year old forward Frantisek Formanek. A native of Chrudim, Czech Republic, Formanek spent most of the 2020-21 season in the Czech2 professional league with HC Stadion Vrchalbi, tallying 5 points in 22 games.
In 2019-20, his last full season in the Czech U17 junior league, Formanek played with HC Dynamo Pardubice, notching 56 points in 30 games.

The Rebels will not select a second player in today's draft. Finnish defenseman Christoffer Sedoff, who played with the club during the 2019-20 season, has committed to returning for 2021-22.
