
Rebels Make Deal With Chiefs

RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, General Manager of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the team has acquired 20-year old forward Adam Helewka from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for 20-year old forward Wyatt Johnson, 15-year old prospect Eli Zummack, a 2nd round selection in the 2016 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft and a 5th round pick in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.
Helewka is in his fourth season in the WHL, he has played 210 WHL games scoring 93 goals and 100 assists for 193 points. He has played 19 WHL playoff games, scoring 4 goals and 4 assists for 8 points. Helewka was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the 4th round of the 2015 National Hockey League Draft.
