
Rebels Complete Trade with Tri-City

RED DEER - Red Deer Rebels Owner, President and General Manager Brent Sutter today announced that the club has completed a trade with the Tri-City Americans.
The Rebels have traded 19-year-old goaltender Kyle Kelsey to the Americans in exchange for a fourth-round selection at the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft, and a second-round selection at the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.
Kelsey appeared in 43 games with the Rebels after he was acquired via trade from Moose Jaw in May 2022, posting a 2.62 goals against average, .909 save percentage, a 23-14-2-4 record, and four shutouts. The Maple Ridge, BC native recorded seven wins in 11 playoff games, a 2.36 goals against average, .912 save percentage, and one shutout.
