Next Home Game: The Hurricanes will return to the ENMAX Centre on Wednesday, November 1st when they welcome the Everett Silvertips at 7:00pm before welcoming the Portland Winterhawks for RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Night for Children's Miracle Network on Saturday at 6:00pm. Tickets for the games can be purchased by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or online at https://bit.ly/3dmYKa2.
RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Night: The Hurricanes are excited to announce the partnership with RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Night for Children's Miracle Network. The 'Canes when they face the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday, November 4th will don Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed jerseys that will be auctioned off for charity. In addition, the first 1,000 fans will receive mini-sticks from RE/MAX while fans are encouraged to dress as their favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle for the game.
November 4th Start Time: A reminder that puck drop for Saturday's home game against the Portland Winterhawks at the ENMAX Centre will be 6:00pm! Doors will open starting at 5:00pm with the Canadian Western Bank Lounge open for dinner beginning at 4:00pm.
Saturday Night Live Music Lounge Party: On Saturday, November 4th join us in the Canadian Western Bank Lounge following the game against the Portland Winterhawks until 10:30pm. The CWB Lounge will have drink and food service while also featuring live music with Luke James Bruce! Admittance is FREE! Bring the whole family as all ages are welcome!
Canadian Tire Teddy & Toque Toss: On Friday, December 1st when they face the Saskatoon Blades, the 'Canes will host their annual Canadian Tire Teddy & Toque Toss at the ENMAX Centre. Beginning Monday, November 6th, fans can purchase a teddy bear or toque for $16.00 at either Canadian Tire location in Lethbridge and will receive a complimentary ticket to the game - limited quantities available. Tickets can also be purchased at the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.
Hockey Gives Blood: Between October 23rd to October 31st, it is Lethbridge Hurricanes Fan Appreciation Week with Canadian Blood Services! Book an appointment to donate blood or plasma at the Lethbridge Plasma Centre and wear your hockey jerseys while enjoying special in-centre games, draws and delicious treats. Wednesday, October 25th - vs. Seattle Thunderbirds (5-0 Win): The Hurricanes handed the defending WHL Champion Seattle Thunderbirds a 5-0 defeat on Wednesday at the ENMAX Centre. It was Seattle's first road loss of the season. Harrison Meneghin made 22-saves for his second shutout of the season. Kooper Gizowski scored twice while Elias Knoester, Tyson Zimmer and Leo Braillard scored in the win.
Friday, October 27th - vs. Calgary Hitmen (4-3 OT Loss): Lethbridge dropped a 4-3 overtime loss to the Calgary Hitmen on Friday at home. Kooper Gizowski, Brayden Edwards and Elias Knoester scored in the defeat while Harrison Meneghin made 28-saves. The ended the Hurricanes three-game home winning streak while dropping their home-ice record to 5-0-2-0 on the season.
ON THE DOCKET
Wednesday, November 1st - vs. Everett Silvertips (7:00pm): The Hurricanes continue their home heavy schedule on Wednesday when they welcome the Everett Silvertips to the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm. It will be the only meeting of the season between the 'Canes and 'Tips while it will be Everett's first visit to Lethbridge since December 4th, 2019.
Friday, November 3rd - at Medicine Hat Tigers (7:00pm): The 'Canes will face their Highway-3 rival for the first time this season on Friday when they travel to take on the high-flying Medicine Hat Tigers at 7:00pm.
The Hurricanes and Tigers met twice in the pre-season with Medicine Hat winning both meetings. It will be the first of eight head-to-head meetings on the regular season.
Saturday, November 4th - vs. Portland Winterhawks (6:00pm): The Hurricanes will open another three- game homestand on Saturday when they host the Portland Winterhawks - note the start time: 6:00pm! The 'Canes will welcome Portland for the first time in four years with the last Winterhawks visit to Lethbridge coming on October 4th, 2019.
