Rays vs. Lynx Tonight

South Carolina Stingrays News Release


N. Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingray and Augusta Lynx meet again tonight at the North Charleston Coliseum. The puck will drop at 7:05 p.m. with doors opening for the season ticket holders at 5:30 p.m. and at 6 p.m. for the general public.

This is the sixth meeting between the two teams with the Lynx winning the past three meetings, including the last two at the Coliseum. The Rays are 2-2-0-1 against Augusta this season and have an all-time record of 33-18-9.

The Stingrays are 12-11-0-2 this year for 26 points and fifth place in the division. The Lynx are 12-15-0 on the season for 14 points and sixth place in the division.

Both teams lost their last game with the Stingrays falling to the Florida Everblades 3-1 and the Lynx losing to Charlotte 5-3. Augusta is currently on a four-game losing streak.

Tonight at the North Charleston Coliseum is Carolina MedCare Night! The first 2,500 fans to walk in the door will receive a free t-shirt courtesy of Carolina MedCare. The Dunkin Donut's Million Dollar Chuck-a-Puck is back one more time before the holidays. Will tonight be the night that someone walks away with a million?
