"Rex" the dog to drop first puck against Stockton

The Amtrak Battle of the 99 is on! Your Fresno Falcons host the first place Stockton Thunder this Friday at 7:30pm at the Save Mart in a Pacific Division Showdown! The Falcons are the defending Pacific Division Champions and are currently six points behind the First Place Stockton Thunder, enjoying a remarkable turnaround season following last year's inaugural season's last place finish in the division. The Falcons face off against Stockton four times in the next ten days.
The Falcons are proud to welcome "Rex" the dog to Friday's game to drop the ceremonial first puck on behalf of the supporters from Animal Rescue of Fresno (A.R.F.) The Falcons are celebrating A.R.F. Night at the Save Mart Center and the Fresno County Sheriffs Department's K-9 group will be represented by Deputy Ivan Janssens and his K9 partner, "Rex". Falcons leading goal scorer John Morlang, (14 goals) will sign autographs following Friday's game. John's wife Laura Morlang is a Volunteer for A.R.F. and they will be joined by their dog "Daisy" to meet and greet the fans after the game.
