Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release
On Behalf of the Ice Pilots management, staff, coaching staff and players we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
TOY DRIVE: The Pensacola Ice Pilots are teaming up Oops Alley to collect toys for to the Gulf Coast Kids House. The event takes place tomorrow (Thursday) from 2 pm to 4 pm at Oops Alley located on Hwy 90 in Pace.
Fans are encouraged to bring a new toy and get a picture taken with an Ice Pilot. A ticket voucher will be given to everyone that makes a donation.
SCHEDULE CHANGES: The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that their Tuesday, Jan. 9 game in Charleston, South Carolina against the Stingrays has been changed to Thursday, Jan. 4. The game will be played at 7:05 pm eastern, 6:05 pm central time.
In another change, the Ice Pilots announced that the Saturday, Feb. 24 game versus the Columbia Inferno at The Hangar has been changed to Thursday, Feb. 22 at 7:05 pm. All tickets printed for the Saturday, Feb. 24 date will be honored on Feb. 22.
The Ice Pilots also wanted to remind fans that the Sunday, Dec. 31 game in Charleston, South Carolina will take place at 6 pm eastern, 5 pm central.
JANUARY 19TH BIG NIGHT: It will be a busy night at The Hangar on Friday, Jan. 19 when the Pensacola Ice Pilots entertain the Texas Wildcatters at 7:05 pm. There are several big group nights planned.
The Ice Pilots will hold another Baptist Health Care Group Night for employees and their families. Baptist Health Care employees and their families can enjoy discounted tickets for $9 and sit in a designated area (section 120).
It's also College Alumni group night. Local alumni chapters will receive a discounted first level ticket. (The local alumni chapters must attend the game as groups and the discounted tickets will not be available at the Box Office). Some of the alumni chapters include: Alabama, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Mississippi, Ohio State, Penn State, Troy University, North Carolina and Georgia Tech.
Bikers are also invited out to the Hangar for Bike Night. It's a great opportunity for bikers to show off their bikes prior to the game in the Plaza and visit with other bike owners. There will be tickets available on the first level for $9 and $12.
The College Alumni Night and the Biker Group nights are only available by calling Charlie at the Ice Pilots office at 432-PUCK, and will not be available at the Box Office.

FRIDAY, DEC. 22 VS. TEXAS WILDCATTERS - 7:05 PM - THE HANGAR - There will be a full team autograph session immediately after the game and the Ice Pilots will wear their Christmas jerseys.
SATURDAY, DEC. 23 VS. TEXAS WILDCATTERS - 7:05 PM - THE HANGAR - Ice Pilots will again wear the Christmas jerseys and an auction will follow after the game.
WEDNESDAY, DEC. 27 @ AUGUSTA LYNX - 6:35 PM CENTRAL, 7:35 PM EASTERN - Game will air live on Classic Country AM1620 and the World Wide Web at www.icepilots.com by clicking on the Sportsjuice logo. The broadcast begins with Ice Pilots Countdown to Face-off at 6:15 pm followed by all of the action at 6:30 pm with Denis J. Puska.
FRIDAY, DEC. 29 VS. GWINNETT GLADIATORS - 7:05 PM, THE HANGAR - The Zooperstars will be in attendance for the game and perform during both Intermissions. The Zooperstars are animal characters using funny names from professional athletes such as: Dominik Hashark, Mario Lemule, Harry Canary, Snail Earnhardt, Jr, Whale Gretzky and Rusty Walrus These characters flip, bounce, shake, and dance and will be fun for all ages. The Zooperstars have performed around the country at several major league, minor league and college events, including all-star games and conference tournaments. RADIO SHOW RETURNS JANUARY 8TH: The Ice Pilots Radio Show Presented by The Montgomery Paint Company returns on Monday, Jan. 8 live from Granny Cantrell's located on Brent Lane and I-110 in Pensacola. Fans can come out from 6 pm to 7 pm and hear from Ice Pilots Head Coach Joe Clark, broadcaster Denis J. Puska and Ice Pilots players. The show is aired live on Classic Country AM1620 and the World Wide Web at www.icepilots.com by clicking on the sportsjuice logo.
