Defenseman David Called up to Binghamton

Beaumont, TX (December 20, 2006) Texas Wildcatters Vice-President of Hockey Operations and Head Coach Malcolm Cameron has announced that defenseman J.F. David was recalled to the Binghamton Senators of the AHL.

In 19 games with the Wildcatters this season, David has three goals and 20 assists for 23 points. He is third among ECHL defensemen in points. This is the second call up for David this year as he also played in one game for the Manitoba Moose this season, registering one assist.

This is the fifth time a Wildcatters player has been called up to the AHL. Forward Marco Rosa was recalled to the Houston Aeros twice and Kevin Baker was called up to Milwaukee.

The Texas Wildcatters are the ECHL affiliate for the AHL's Houston Aeros. The next Wildcatters home game is on Thursday, December 28 vs. South Division rival, the Florida Everblades.
