CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers are busy in the community this holiday season beginning with an appearance tonight at the inaugural 'Hooters Happy Hour' from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Hooters on South Boulevard. The Checkers will continue their community appearances at 6:00 pm on Friday at WBT's Holiday on Ice at The Green Uptown.
Join Dan Murphy, Zdenek Bahensky, Corey Potter, Ryan Constant, Kenny Smith and Daymen Rycroft at the first 'Hooters Happy Hour' from 7:00 to 9:00 pm tonight at the Hooters located at 9807 South Boulevard. The players will be signing autographs.
Alex Westlund and Kenton Smith, along with Chubby the Checkers mascot, will be at WBT's Holiday on Ice at The Green Uptown to skate with fans and sign autographs from 6:00 to 7:30 pm on Friday.
The Checkers are back at home at 7:00 pm Thursday vs. the Reading Royals. Tickets for tomorrow's game can be purchased by calling 704.342.4.ICE or purchase and print your tickets at home by visiting www.CharlotteBobcatsArena.com.
