The Week That Was...

The South Carolina Stingrays had most of the week off for the All-Star break but returned to action over the weekend with back to back road games in Charlotte and Mississippi.

On Saturday night, Vigier was back in net against the Checkers. Spencer Carbery and Nate Kiser both scored, but the Rays gave up two power play goals and ended up falling 3-2.

In Mississippi on Sunday afternoon, the Rays scored twice in the second period on goals by Matt Scherer and Keith Johnson, but an empty-net goal with just 44 seconds left in the third period sealed the victory for the Sea Wolves 4-2.
