Come out for the Stingrays next fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 16th as the Rays join forces with 98x, the Bridge and Hooters to help raise money for the Jenkins Institute for Children.

Latest News:

The Stingrays returned from the longest road trip of the season to play three games at home in hopes of continuing their home winning streak. Continue it they did as the Team went 3-0 to extend the streak to ten consecutive home wins.

First up were the Augusta Lynx on Tuesday, Jan. 15th. It was all Stingrays as they scored five goals in two periods to win 5-1. Augusta did not get on the board until 15:35 of the third period. Game winning goal was by Marty Guerin and Josh Johnson stopped 33 shots in net.

On Friday night, Rays rival Gwinnett came to town and the Stingrays looked to win two in a row against the Gladiators. The Stingrays came from behind three times to tie the game and Pierre-Luc O'Brien eventually scored the game-winner in the third period.

Davis Parley made his return to the North Charleston Coliseum on Saturday night as Augusta returned to town. The net minder had his first shutout of the season, stopping all 24 shots as the Rays won 2-0 in front of a record 10,565 fans.

League Leaders:

Travis Morin is 9th in the league in scoring with 43 points (18g-25a) in 36 games. Morin also leads the league with his four short-handed goals.

Grant McNeill leads the league in minor penalties with 42 in 31 games. His 124 penalty minutes is first among defensemen and his eight major penalties ranks him 2nd.

Tim Judy's three goals in thirteen shots places him 5th among defensemen in shooting percentage with .231.

In goalie news, Davis Parley remains 5th among goalies with a 2.20 goals-against average. Josh Johnson is tied for third with his 15 wins.

Among rookies, the Stingrays have two of the top-20 point scorers. Travis Morin is 4th with 43 points, and Pierre-Luc O'Brien's 35 points places him 11th. Morin's 18 goals also places him 5th and O'Brien's 29 assists ranks him 3rd.

The Stingrays have sole possession of 2nd place in the South Division, two points ahead of Gwinnett and are 4th in the American Conference.

The Stingrays are 6th in the power play, converting 20.4% of the time, and 10th in the penalty kill, successful 84.4% of the time.
