
MAGIC FM to carry All-Star Game broadcast

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, in conjunction with Route 81 Radio, are pleased to announce that MAGIC FM (92.7/97.7) will provide broadcast coverage of the Chase Chevrolet 2008 ECHL All-Star Game. The game will be played Wednesday night at Stockton Arena, home of the Stockton Thunder, in California. Face-off is scheduled for 10:05 p.m. with the pre-game show kicking off the night's coverage at 9:45 p.m.
MAGIC FM is part of a 12-station network in ten ECHL markets that will carry the broadcast including KGEO-AM 1230 in Bakersfield, Calif.; 1640 WTNI and 1490 WXBD in Biloxi, Miss.; 1350 KTIK - The Ticket in Boise, Idaho; 790 ESPN Radio, The Deuce in Fresno, Calif.; AM-970 ESPN Radio in Modesto/Stockton, Calif.; ESPN 910 The Team in North Charleston, S.C.; KKAT AM 860 in Salt Lake City; 1420 KSTN-AM in Stockton, Calif.; and WKWK 97.3 FM in Wheeling, W.Va.
The broadcast will be produced by NHL Radio while Mike Benton (Bakersfield Falcons), Brendan Burke (Wheeling Nailers) and Leif Skodnick (Mississippi Sea Wolves) will comprise the broadcast team.
The Jackals and Route 81 Radio are in the second year of a two-year broadcast partnership that has seen the club's regular season broadcasts on MAGIC FM with the team's weekly radio show airing on sister station NewsTalk 1230/1450 on Monday nights throughout the season.

The Jackals return to action after the All-Star break when they visit the Trenton Devils at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Sovereign Bank Arena. Broadcast coverage begins with the Hill Top Inn Countdown to Face-Off at 7:00 p.m. on MAGIC FM (92.7/97.7).
