Rats Launch new site re-design

Albany River Rats News Release
Albany N.Y. â The Albany River Rats today unveiled the club's redesigned web site at www.albanyriverrats.com. The site, designed and hosted by InfinityProSports.com offers the same easy to use features with new content and a link that will allow fans to hear a streaming audio broadcast for selected games.
The new site showcases team information including the club's roster, player statistics, and coaching staff biographies, as well as an expanded on-line merchandise store, along with scheduling and ticket information. Fans can also find the most up-to-date news and notes on the top minor league affiliate of the New Jersey Devils with archives that span from 2000-present.
One of the new features is a fan zone which allows surfers to sign up for the River Rats Cyber Fan Club, see details on upcoming events and promotions, and learn the intricacies of the coolest game on earth in its Hockey 101 section. The new multi-media portion of the site includes links to local media coverage as well as a River Rats desktop wallpaper and screensaver. There is also a section featuring Pepsi Arena, which includes a seating chart and directions, as well as space devoted to the club's practice facility, the B.I.G. Arena.
The Albany River Rats will offer streaming audio for selected games airing on the club's flagship station, Sportstalk 980 AM during the 2002-03 season through SportsJuice.com. All fans have to do is click on the link at www.albanyriverrats.com to hear all the action from play-by-play announcer Jonathan Scherzer and a variety of guest color commentators. A portion of the team's radio schedule will also be heard on Oldies 98.3 WTRY FM.
