
Amerks Make Player Moves

Rochester Americans News Release
(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Americans General Manager Jody Gage announced today that the Amerks have released the following seven players: Greece native Jason Bonsignore, Doug Christiansen, Kevin Colley, Kurt Drummond, Paul Traynor, Jayme Platt and Mike Renzi. The Amerks roster now stands at 22 players.
The Amerks open the 2002-03 American Hockey League season on Friday, October 11th when they host the Albany River Rats at 7:35 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial. Rochester will practice Tuesday, October 8th at the ESL Sports Centre on the campus of Monroe Community College from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
