Raptors 905 to Play First School-Day Basketball Game at Air Canada Centre

Raptors 905, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, is set to play the first school-day basketball game in Air Canada Centre's history Friday, December 11 at 11 a.m. when the club plays host to the Maine Red Claws.

As many as 10,000 students and teachers from the Greater Toronto Area are expected to fill the Air Canada Centre's lower bowl for the event. Students from the Toronto District School Board, Toronto Catholic District School Board, as well as York Region and Durham Region school boards will take in the game.

"Introducing kids to our game at an early age promotes the health benefits of physical activity, value of teamwork and importance of sportsmanship," said Raptors 905 General Manager Dan Tolzman. "Our school-day game at Air Canada Centre is an exciting way to bring professional basketball to a wide scope of youth in our region."

Group tickets start as low as $9.05 for ends, $16 for corners, $21 for sides and $23 side premium seats. The game is open to the public, with single seats available for as low as $14. For more information, email tickets@raptors905.com.
