
Drive Partner with Northwestern Mutual for 'River City Sundays' Series

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - The Grand Rapids Drive and Northwestern Mutual of Grand Rapids are excited to announce the launch of the 'River City Sundays' series beginning this Sunday, December 6 at 4pm. Bringing the city of Grand Rapids' nickname "River City" to life during Drive games, players will be donning custom River City uniforms featuring navy blue, red and white colors.
"We are proud to partner with Northwestern Mutual of Grand Rapids to highlight the tradition-rich city of Grand Rapids, known throughout the region as 'River City'", said Vice President Wes Weir. "Also, our fans will have a special treat on Sundays as we unveil our brand new, custom designed jerseys and River City merchandise."
The first 500 fans will receive custom Drive pennants, and new River City merchandise will be available for purchase at the game. To help kick off the series, the DeltaPlex arena will be offering $1 hot dogs to all fans throughout the game.
The River City Sunday series will take place on Sunday, December 6, Sunday, December 13 and Sunday, January 24 this season.
