
Elliot Williams Named NBA Development League Player of the Month

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - 2015 NBA D-League Finals MVP Elliot Williams has been named NBA Development League Player of the Month for games played in November. The honor, the first of the 2015-16 season, is also the first of Williams' NBA D-League career.
Williams (6-5, 183, University of Memphis) helped Santa Cruz to a 4-3 record to start the 2015-16 season. Williams ranked third in the NBA D-League in scoring (28.1 ppg) and assists (6.6 apg), and added 8.6 rebounds. He has scored at least 23 points in every game.
Nov. 20, he recorded a double-double with 31 points on 10-of-12 shooting and 15 rebounds, to go along with eight assists and three steals in a 106-100 victory over the Los Angeles D-Fenders. On Nov. 26, he notched a double-double with 26 points and 11 assists in a 98-87 loss to the Austin Spurs.
The Santa Cruz Warriors will host a weekend doubleheader against the visiting Texas Legends beginning Friday December 4th at 7:00 p.m. PST at Kaiser Permanente Arena.
